Make Your Own “Clark Kent” Mailbox

Let’s have fun with free images! In this tutorial I want to show you how to changes “Kent” name into your name.
Step 1
You can download the images from Superman Returns Website it’s free!
Step 2
Use the Clone Stamp Tool (S) to remove Kent-text. To replace the text, press alt at the source of texture and start cloning.
Step 3
The results of Cloning Stamp looks rough, with Healing Brush (J) we can make it looks smooth. To make this work, press alt at the source texture and start brushing the texture you want to replace it.
After use the Healing Brush you can compare the above and below images.
Step 4
Add the Text by choose the Horizontal Type Tool (T) and put your name into it. Use Arial with Bold type or Arial Black and Dark Red color.
Step 5
If you just put the text, it looks so strange. So we need some perspective to looks matched with the mailbox. Choose the layer text and press Ctrl-T or press Edit > Free Transform. Resize the text and pick the corner of the selection to make more perspective with your text.
Step 6
Rasterize the Layer Text by right click on the Layer Text and choose Rasterize Type. And then changes to layer mask by click the add layer mask button.
Step 7
Now we want to make the text changes to grunge effect. Choose the Spatter Brush like the image below, it default from your photoshop.
Step 8
Brush to the text, you can set the brush opacity and brush flow.
Step 9
Decrease the Opacity on the layer tab.
Now you have a mailbox like Clark Kent own
